If your cd is full of scratches and if you are unable to recover data from it.try this tip :
Get some cotton balls/soft cloth and put some toothpaste on it. Rub your scratched cd with the cotton balls until the majority of the scratches are gone.
Rinse the disc with water and dry it with a cloth that won't scratch.
you will be amazed to see it works....

HOW TO SAVE AND PLAY YOUR ONLINE STREAMING VIDEOS OR MP3S
It's cool to listen to MP3s (or watch movies) over the Internet. Often, saving this media, however, seems impossible. Hey, if it plays on your computer, it's on your hard drive. Once the file is fully loaded and with folder view set to show hidden and systems folders, now check for the cache memory of the browser you will get it.
for eg: If you are using firefox, follow these steps:
c:-->Documents and Settings-->user name(say like "kartik")--->local settings-->application data-->mozilla-->firefox--> profiles--->.....--->cache. now open your vlc player and drag and drop the files in cache which is having more memory.. now you get it...
after that you have to save that file by coping it and rename it with .avi extension.
generally you can play these files in any player if you have codecs like klm, strom. or other wise play them in vlc and enjoy.
